Sennheiser e905 Drum Microphone

Description

The Sennheiser e 905 is a short body dynamic microphone designed primarily for drum use.

The e905 features all-metal construction with integrated stand mount and a hum compensating coil. The capsule is shock-mounted to reduce mechanical noise. According to Sennheiser, the mic produces a fast attack and can handle high sound pressure levels. The published frequency curve shows a rolloff at 100Hz, and an upper mid boost from 5 to 15kHz, peaking at +6dB at 5500Hz.

Sennheiser received a TEC Award for their e-series drum mics in 2005.
